central inn with easy access to charming parks and museums
during my stay, I loved that the inn is just a short stroll from the Nantucket State Forest, which offers lovely walking trails, and only about 3 km from the Whaling Museum, where I enjoyed diving into local history, making it easy to explore the area's many attractions.

The breakfast at the hotel was delicious with far too many items to list👍

The rooms need to be updated and the location was quite a distance from the center of town.

I stayed in the King Room, Disability Access, and the space was pretty big, nice. The room was mostly updated, but the bathroom felt a bit old-school. The two sinks were super handy for getting ready in the morning-a major plus! It was comfy enough, but could use a bit of a refresh in some areas.

Shuttle service a real plus and drivers were courteous, especially Eric who went out of his way to help us. Restaurant excellent breakfast fare, the best!
The only thing we found a little difficult for us was the bathtub in Room 205. The non-skid grids were mostly missing and the tub was slippery. But we used a bath mat to stand on and all was well.

The morning breakfast offerings impressed me with their variety. The proximity to the airport meant occasional noise. Manageable for me but perhaps a consideration for others.

The quiet location.
TV is outdated and takes up lots of room. Second floor rooms need help with luggage because there are no elevators. Shuttle bus driver help us as we are elderly.

The hotel is located just opposite the airport in Nantucket, which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing information available to me prior to my making the reservation. The hotel is clean and the staff generally pleasant and accomodating. The hotel is not near anything of interest in Nantucket, not very close to beaches and definitely not close to town for shopping and dining. At the price of over 300/per night it was outrageous for the quality of the accomodations, food, decor etc, even for Nantucket in July. It is on a par with a clean and well run budget hotel and definitely not worth the kind of money I paid for the weekend, Unfortunately we did not find out any of this until we arrived there the first night of a long weekend and at that point did not see how we could make alternative arrangements without losing a lot of money we'd already paid. I definitely would not book there again at those prices and I felt very misled by the reviews and guest comments on your website.

What's great and what's not
The staff was excellent! And the complex layout of buildings provides a nice courtyard for relaxation.
The breakfast offerings were underwhelming with no hot options. The dated pool is in need of an upgrade.

The staff was great. Very helpful. The shuttle service was on time and very useful. Pools were very clean and monitored by lifeguards. Had a laundry facility for use by the guests. Hotel is not downtown but we knew that and that was okay with us. We enjoyed our stay.
